Up the Trent, Over the Oaks

Follow the Trent River past Frankford and Glen Ross on the Lower Trent Trail. This is a longer ride that’s perfect for someone looking to challenge their past kilometres without a ton of elevation gain. Easy does it until kilometre 33.1, when it’s up the Oak Hills, but it’s mostly downhill after that. Once you’re back at the car, it’s worth back-tracking up to Grills Orchards for freshly picked apples in season and other locally-made products year-round.
